GED Preparation

The ABE program is for students who do not have a high school diploma, have legally withdrawn from a traditional K-12 school, and score at the ABE level on the TABE placement assessment.

Adult Basic Education classes help adult students improve basic skills in math, reading, and language arts.

Students progress at their own pace, learn basic skills, and prepare for entry into the GED program, or vocational/technical training opportunities.

Course work assists the student in attaining success aimed at satisfying the needs of adults wishing to change or maintain career goals, remediate (improve) basic academic skills, or otherwise further their educational opportunities.

Please note: Florida has a very broad public records law. Most written communication to or from our state officials regarding
