Do you need assistance after Hurricane Ian? Click here to take a survey about your unmet needs

The Non Profits of Hardee County have been meeting almost daily since the storm to strategize and organize a process for families and individuals that need assistance in our community from a local level. We understand that we are shifting from relief to short term recovery this week and eventually to long term recovery in the next few months.

There are obviously federal funded programs and governmental programs that families will need to apply for (i.e. FEMA, LIHEAP, DSNAP, etc) However, from a local level, SendMeMissions, Hardee Help Center, Cutting Edge Ministries Food Bank, United Way, and Hardee County Community Development are working together to ensure unmet needs are identified and met, and if there are any gaps in our process, they get filled as well. (i.e. mattresses, food, housing, shelter, tarps, trees, muckouts, etc)
