AVID

AVID is a nonprofit college-readiness program. The program is designed to help students develop the many skills they need to be successful in college. Special emphasis is placed on growing writing, reading, critical thinking, teamwork, and organization skills. At HJH, AVID is both an elective class and a school-wide initiative.
