The Grow Hardee Scholarship Story
In 2018, the Foundation was charged with the responsibility of designing, establishing, and overseeing workforce development programs funded by an $8,000,000 endowment as established in a Local Development Agreement between Hardee County and Mosaic, LLC and contribution by The Development Group.
The intent of this endowment was to provide Hardee County residents and individuals who want to relocate to our community with an affordable path to post-secondary education in fields that drive economic growth.
The Grow Hardee Scholarship is the Foundation's premiere project which will accomplish this goal of increasing the community’s average post-secondary attainment and therefore the economic situation in Hardee County.
