District elementary gifted students recently wrapped up a semester study of the National Parks. At their last meeting they focused on learning about the Everglades, reading a book titled Marjory Saves the Everglades. They even visited the Everglades with VR headsets and created their own models of wetlands!
Throughout the semester each student researched a National Park and made their own game card featuring facts. Then each received a complete set of everyone’s cards and enjoyed learning and playing!
