Jun 11, 2026, from 8am-2pm, is the 17th Annual UF/IFAS Range Cattle Research and Education Center Youth Field Day.
Our goal: To excite students about agriculture and science, reveal future opportunities in those fields, and foster a love of learning which will promote agriculture and good stewardship in this and future generations.
Students ages 8 to 18 who engage with all the learning expo booths and complete all the classes will receive a Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) certificate.
Agenda:
Location: 3401 Experiment Station, Ona, FL
7:30 AM - Check in
8:00 AM - Learning Expo: visit educational booths and take a RCREC pasture and cattle tour
10:00 AM - Assemble for the welcome message and divide into groups
10:10 AM - Class rotations begin
