Tropical Storm Helene -
Updated information from the 5:00 p.m. advisory:
Hardee County is now under a tropical storm warning. Rain will begin tomorrow late afternoon/ evening with the winds on Thursday expected to gust to 50-60 mph along with 3+6 inches of rain. Weather should improve on Thursday afternoon/ evening.

The school district will be open for business tomorrow (Wednesday, September 25) as scheduled. Due to the forecast track, intensity, and the posting of a tropical storm watch for Hardee County, the school district will be CLOSED on Thursday, September 26 and plans to REOPEN on Friday, September 27 if the weather permits a safe return. As usual, we will keep you posted with the latest updates. Please be safe!

Exciting news! The Book Fair e-Wallet is officially open for our upcoming fair! Any student who registers for an e-Wallet within the first 10 days will be entered into a drawing for a $20 Scholastic gift card to use at the fair. The winner will be announced on October 3rd. Don’t worry—there’s no need to add money to your wallet right away when you register, you will still be entered into the drawing. Happy reading!

5th grade will be hosting spirit day fundraisers on Friday mornings beginning this Friday 9/13 from 7:00-7:25 in front of the 5th grade building. Spirit beads are 2 for $1 and foam spirit fingers $1 each!
